The future of sales is social selling or as it is also known SALES 2.0.

Salespeople that don’t adopt social selling and that don't leverage social intelligence will lose business to the Sales Executives that do. Sales VPs and Business Owners need to start training their sales people how to use social media tools for prospecting, lead generation, lead nurturing, research and closing.

Social selling will become more and more popular across every industry and will very soon become the norm. The same way that email revolutionized insides sales, social media will too, it's just a matter of time.
