Jewel originally hails from Washington, D.C. but moved to South Florida a few years ago. Through her love and passion with Social Media, she has met many interesting and affluent people, which led her to what her friends jokingly call “The Fab Life.” She was inspired to blog about her adventures, meetings and events. Her blog quickly rose in traffic and her following grew, TheTinyJEWELBox, was named the Best Personal Blog in South Florida 2010 by the South Florida's Sun Sentinel Newspaper.

Jewel also has a heart for service. She’s held leadership positions within several local charities and is always willing to assist “the least of us”. She's helped organizations tap into social media and leverage these media channels to increase awareness and raise much needed funds and resources.
Jewel has worked with both Multinational brands and local Miami brands. Companies such as Macy's, Dunkin Donuts, Chevy, GMC, MAC Cosmetics, Hot Pink Styling, Sweet Tomatoes are among those that have reached out wanting to work with the Fabulous Jewel Figueras.
